Last year i chickened out of paying $175 to get into VIP night but now that i have done it, there is no other way to see the car show! It was NOT AT ALL what i was expecting! Going in, i thought it would be just a few people and that i would be able to take pics of all the cars without crowds. Instead, it was a GIANT party! An “ideally black tie but suits are acceptable” affair for the manufacturers to schmooze dealers and industry folks…multiple concerts and open bars everywhere with a well dressed HUGE crowd stammering about! All very surreal…
I was the first person in to the exotic car display..here i found my favourite car of the show..a Ferrari 599XX…simply STUNNING!!!

I’ll come back to the exotics later but first i want to cover some of my other favourites of the show…I LOVE THIS! Considering i have a matte car now, this would be the perfect match…

Ok, the new E63 S-series is HOT! The interior was awesome..i can’t wait to drive it! (I told the salesman that i didn’t have any alcohol before hitting the spinning display..no drinking and driving for me lol)

C63 (i still prefer my four door version)

SLK

SL

sadly no SLS Black..but a roadster

ok back to exotics…unfortunately the Lotus rep was not there as i wanted to sit in the Evora to see if i fit…it is on my “list”

Maserati MC-12

the new Quattroporte (not sure i like it)

Ferrari F40..as much as i love this, i admit it looks dated next to the 599XX (not to mention that my AMG has more horsepower and torque!!)

Ferrari FF (i hear these are amazing in the snow)

Mustang

the new Corvette Stingray..i am not sure about it…it does not have that “familiar” corvette look to me

ahh that’s more like it..ZR-1

the new Viper..i believe it has the highest torque rating on the market for a naturally aspirated engine

One serious Camaro

Challenger

Cadillac CTS-V in coupe, sedan and wagon

Jeep

electric truck with 800HP!!

Now Japanese…after driving the GT-R around a racetrack, i have removed it off my wishlist.
