Part 2 starts off the same way Part 1 ended with lots of guns lol.

Based in Southwestern Ontario, Green Peak Wholesale Inc. is a Canadian-owned and operated, wholesale distributor of firearms, ammunition, and other shooting sports supplies. As a wholesale distributor only, they do not own or operate any retail business and do not sell directly to the public.

Green Peak is also the distributor of the Italian guns we saw earlier, including another show favourite of mine, this Sabatti Tactical Evo. I have covered Sabatti and their Multi-Radial Barrels in past reviews and I encourage you to look up the benefits of this design.

I didn’t handle the Pedersoli Jackal44 when we looked at it earlier so I took the opportunity this time

The Pedersoli Jackal 44 modernizes the 1880s Colt Lightning design by upgrading it with high-strength forged steel metallurgy, a threaded barrel, and advanced internal safety features (like a floating firing pin and hammer-locking button). It also swaps out the finicky historical cartridge guides for heavy-duty cartridge stop plates that clamp and stabilize rounds during cycling. The result is a rugged, fast-handling pump-action rifle engineered to flawlessly feed and withstand the high pressures of modern .44 Magnum hunting ammunition. Watch your thumb for the bolt though lol

Ok there has been huge online buzz around the next firearm we are looking at, namely Canada’s smallest non-restricted firearm, the rail mounted G6!

This single shot break action 12-gauge can only fire when it is mounted to a rail

Press the lever on the side to open it for loading

The safety button on top prevents firing unless it is mounted

As opposed to the trigger safety at the rear of the trigger guard

Since Richard and Andrea were looking for their first gun, I wanted to introduce them to my favourite .22LR, TacSol! Both liked the take-down bolt action the best

Though the X-Ring with Boyd’s Forest Camo Hardwood Laminated stock was also very nice

Bergara also offers great bolt action .22s so we looked at those as well and while we were here, the rest of the Canuck lineup

Time to check in with show host FOC and see the incredible selection they brought

Funny enough, I saw another Crusader Backlands, along with Stephen from Crusader arms just a few minutes later. This heavily customized version was for a giveaway by Code of Arms and came paired with a matching utility knife!

Backcountry Handgun Education offers a 2-day course on self defense from predatory wild animals with the use of handguns, shotguns, and less lethal devices. The course covers predatory wild animal behaviour, advanced technology required in the wilderness, the Authorization to Carry process, and more. I need to take this! I am thinking a flamethrower for tick defense, I wonder what they would say?

I didn’t get a pic of the airsoft range but I did snag a couple of these Raven Elite electric airsoft rifles! I saw these at Expo Impact 2025 and they are serious pieces of kit with a sophisticated Electronic Trigger Control System (E.T.C.S.) that has shooting mode programming capabilities and trigger sensitivity adjustment.

I also shot Ballista crossbows at Expo Impact! Great to see them again. So easy to operate.

Contessa makes scope mounts and is the go-to brand for many European guns (like the Italian ones I covered earlier)

I believe this one is for Mausers and Contessa is the only one to offer such a design

I mentioned that the ATN Thor 6 thermal sight was one of the coolest things at the show, well its counterpart, a thermal blocking ghillie suit from Talos Advanced Systems was right there along with it!

This thing was incredible! We took pics of me through a thermal camera and I will post those as soon as they arrive. Spoiler alert, I look like a big black blob lol. OMG I need one of these!

I also really liked the Phalanx Level IIIA Ballistic Shield by AI Tactical Solutions and thank you to Vortex for letting me borrow one of you Blueguns for the pic!

Opfor gave me a huge thrill at TACCOM 2024 by finally giving me the chance to try Quads!

This time I wanted to see one of their laser designators but something caught my eye first

Specially those giant binocular looking things on the table

Turns out they are a training aid, an exaggerated dimension version of the helmet mount Falcon, and you know I am a sucker for training devices

In terms of lasers, I was hoping to see the B.E. Meyers KIJI™ VCSEL IR Laser Illuminator. No luck there but a mil-spec Holosun IRIS will certainly do. While my camera did pick up the very distant green dot, it doesn’t show well enough in the pic to post here..it sure was visible in real life though!

As I mentioned in my TACCOM 2024 review, Perroz Designs was acquired by Movie Armament Group to take their designs to scale. It was great to see both Perroz’s awesome gear and MAG’s movie guns back at TACCOM.

I immediately spotted the earpro headband covers in DNC, my absolute favourite camo pattern!

And yes, I did get the earpro headband cover

Omek International mainly brought helmets and body armour this year

With the recent rise of home invasions, it is no surprise that Strikeglass had one of the more popular booths. We could hear people whacking their safety glass all day lol

In addition to scoping out new guns, Richard and Andrea were also looking for some new gear such as a backpack. I suggested we start at 416Tactical.

There were lots of nice bags, packs, and pouches from Warrior Assault Gear, Vertx, and Viktos though none quite fit the size, feature, price combo they were seeking.

Meanwhile I managed to find an awesome selection of Gatorz including a Delta that I have been wanting to try on. They had the M4 variant with bright green lens which is not the exact combo that I wanted but at least it gave me a good idea of how the Delta fits my face.

Next we stopped at Hudson who had two bags from Tasmanian Tiger on display. Not bad but of course Hudson is a distributor so we would have to find a retailer anyway.

For the next stop on our backpack quest, we hit up my good friends at Armorum where we found a big selection of Maxtacs bags. I picked up a pair of Maxtacs pants at a previous show and am a huge fan of the brand. They are very well designed and have lots of unique features.

Indeed, Goldilocks found the perfect bag! The right size, super comfortable, and full of great features like MOLLE webbing. Plus I have to say it looks FANTASTIC!

Next on the gear shopping list, tactical pens so yet another trip to Uniturc to see the Halfbreed offerings. The bolt action TBP-01 was the clear winner.

All of us also loved the Halfbreed IRT-01 Incident Response Tool, which is designed to fit exactly in the MOLLE webbing on Andrea’s new backpack. This is why I love TACCOM! You come in looking like a civilian and leave looking Operator AF lol

With the backpack and pen chosen, we could come back to eyepro (my obsession) so time to visit McLeod Sporting Company to see some Pilla!

They had classic shooting glasses like the Tomcat

As you may know, Pilla makes a huge array of lenses to match your shooting needs. I liked the red Tomcats as I believe they would accentuate red dots

The Forta neoprene gun socks that McLeod also carries were quite interesting

This Karambit was my favourite. I already have one of this design except mine doesn’t have the cool texturing on the blade and this one has a nice blue handle too. That makes it ok, right?

Last but certainly not least, the Service Dog demo by Baden K-9!

The dogs did several demos to show their discipline like walking on tin cans

Remaining calm and allowing themselves to be inspected (this is critical as it is standard procedure for the dogs to get inspected when returning from missions)
